My name is John Glenn, and I am a licensed architect with over 25 years of experience in urban and transit-oriented development (TOD), affordable and market-rate housing, nonprofit projects, and advocacy work. I genuinely love being an architect and am deeply passionate about transforming cities and creating positive, lasting change.
Architects bring a unique perspective to problem-solving, grounded in a deep understanding of how people experience space and place. Architects strive to elevate both design and humanity in our practice.
Architects lead by turning ideas into environments that shape daily life. We use design thinking and problem-solving to guide projects, foster teamwork, and pursue solutions that are practical and sustainable. Our leadership is about vision, anticipating challenges, and driving teams toward lasting results—this is the style of Leadership that is needed and I will bring to the Regional Transportation Board.
Throughout my life, I have consistently depended on public transit as my means of mobility. My reliance on these systems began in my youth, starting with the daily public bus rides I took to and from high school. Now I commute every week on the A-Line. This early experience shaped my view of public transit systems and the people that depend on it.
WIth your support, I promise to lead this agency with inclusive processes to ensure everyone that uses RTD is welcomed. Stay tuned to my website for further developments.
